DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT?
No. We sell directly to the interior design trade community. We do not have a physical storefront, but there are a few ways to see products in person:
Sampling – We offer 6” by 6” samples of our fabrics and wallpaper for $5 each + shipping. We highly recommend ordering a sample before placing an order to verify the color and scale of the design.
Private appointments – MERINDA STUDIO is based in the Chicago area and we are happy to present the line to you. Reach out to hello@merindastudio.com to set something up!
Events and such – We love a good party, so follow us on Instagram and sign up for the MERINDA email for event dates coming to you.
WHAT ABOUT TRADE DISCOUNTS?
We do offer special discounts and the ability to customize products for interior designers and architects enrolled in our Trade Program.

DO YOU KEEP ANYTHING IN STOCK?
All of our items are made to order.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES?
Artwork: 2-3 weeks.
Wallpaper and fabric: 2-4 weeks.
Pillows: 3-4 weeks.
All lead times are approximate. Custom orders may take longer, depending on the editing process.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?
The minimum order quantity for our washable wallpaper is a single roll. A roll of smooth wallpaper is 2’ wide by 12’ long. The minimum order quantity for grasscloth wallpaper is a double roll, 2’ x 27’ once hand trimmed or overlapped.
The minimum order quantity for fabric is one yard. Our yard is 36” long and 54” to 58” long, depending on the type of material you are ordering. Exact size can be found in each product description and order details. Our fabric is sold in full yard increments.
DO YOU OFFER CFAs (CUTTINGS FOR APPROVAL) ON YOUR FABRIC?
All of our textiles are print to order so we do not offer CFAs. We have found that digital printing offers extremely close color matches from print to print. We don't guarantee absolute exact matches but we are very confident in our printer's consistency. We do recommend purchasing as much as you need for your project at one time.
WHERE AND HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
Our products are proudly designed and printed in the US. They are responsibly produced with inks that are ecologically safe. Our smooth wallpapers are also PVC-free. We produce only what it ordered, in an effort to reduce waste in our landfill and to conserve resources such as water and materials.
Our pillows and other made-goods are produced by qualified artisans. None of our products are mass-produced. We are a true small-batch company.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE A DESIGN?
We are offering customization to those in our Trade Program on our MERINDA designs. Collaboration designs are not customizable.
CLEANING & CARE
Wallpapers (not including grasscloth) are washable using a mild soap that does not contain detergent. Rinse with clear, clean water. Do not use abrasives or bleach. Stains caused by grease, oil, permanent marker or paints may not be removable.
Fabrics are machine washable with a gentle detergent on a delicate cycle. Stains caused by grease, oil and other dark substances (looking at you red wine) may not be removable.
We do not take responsibility for items damaged during cleaning.
HOW MUCH WALLPAPER DO I NEED?
Well, it’s complicated and best left to the trained eye of a wallpaper installer. It depends on the pattern repeat, the wall height and other factors.
Very generally, one double-roll can cover approximately 45-50 square feet once trimmed and pattern repeats are considered. But, as we said, call a professional to measure your exact space.
WAIT. WHAT’S A DOUBLE ROLL?
In wallpaper-speak, a double-roll is generally longer than 12.’ Our smooth wallpaper is a single roll, while our grasscloth is much longer and a double-roll. Make sure you confirm the amount you need, before you place your order.
HOW DO I HANG WALLPAPER?
We recommend hiring a professional to tackle this task. It’s tricky, messy and you can easily damage the wallpaper by installing it incorrectly. We cannot be held accountable for any issues you have in hanging your wallpaper.
Our smooth wallpaper is pre-pasted and only require water to activate the glue. Our grasscloth wallpaper is non-pasted.
If you are ordering smooth wallpaper with a dark background, we recommend priming the wall with a dark-colored primer. This helps hide the white seams of the wallpaper.
